Review by hotel critic
Tucked away in the bustling Pratunam market, the Budacco hotel offers an intriguing mix of luxury and value that certainly caught my attention. As a travel writer and beer enthusiast, I appreciate accommodations that allow me to explore local flavors—both in brews and bites—while still feeling comfortable at the end of a long day. During my stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room featuring a king-sized bed. It's a bit firmer than I prefer, but it served its purpose quite well. With daily housekeeping, the room remained clean, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. The hot water in the shower was consistent, a simple yet essential luxury, and the flat-screen TV provided a nice option for winding down. The location cannot be overstated; with street markets and a 7-Eleven conveniently close, it’s ideal for those who enjoy a bit of local shopping alongside their culinary adventures. If you're seeking a place with good Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and reasonable rates, Budacco is a solid pick. Just weigh the options, as every penny saved leaves more for indulging in the region's renowned brew culture—a priority for any discerning traveler like myself.
